How to Join

First a word about membership in bicisport:

bicisport wishes to recruit members who are not only dedicated, competitive athletes, but individuals who are also willing to put something back into their club. In short, we feel it is important for our members to volunteer when called upon, and effectively earn the privilege of reaping the benefits their membership. Specifically, we want members who are willing to assist with the planning, and execution of race events, who take part in club activities, and most importantly, who make themselves available to help out with our annual AGLC Casino fundraiser, which is our club’s primary source of funding.

Another strong element of our membership profile is the desire to focus on the recruitment of both junior and paralympic athletes, and to provide guidance, assistance and support in their development as competitive cyclists. We want bicisport to be their springboard to Provincial, National and International caliber competition. This concept is strongly supported by the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC) whose policy it is to allocate a minimum of 50% of their funding to this initiative.

Finally, we aim to create a club culture where members will support one another, compete strongly and with good sportsmanship, and ultimately wear our club colours with pride.

Membership Types

Bicisport offers three types of memberships.
