Membership

Bicisport is looking for members who want to put something into the club, thereby reaping the benefits. We require members willing to put some time into helping out with hosting races, and taking part in club activities. We put on the first ABA sanctioned road event of the season named the bici Grand Prix. A couple of members organize the races and we draw on volunteers from the rest of the club. These ABA-sanctioned races are organized by a couple of our members, and supported by the rest of the club. We want riders who are proud to wear our colours! Our club culture is to enjoy the lifetime benefits offered by participating in the sport and giving back in a volunteer way to the sport. Bicisport has a club coach who is available for personal training plans, as well as organizing group training sessions. We have a couple of disk wheels, bike bags and a club van available for members to use. We have Louis Garneau shorts, jerseys, vests, skin-suits, and jackets available in team colours. We have 2 different membership plans. For anyone over the age of 21 the membership fee is $50 with an optional “inclusive membership“ of $250 which includes both membership and some team clothing. We believe that the future of any sport is its youth and Alberta gaming is helping us promote that belief. We focus on riders under the age of 22 who can participate with an “inclusive membership“ for $215 that includes both membership and team clothing. Email James Purdy for more detailed information.
